Panflute Masterclass offer by the academy of Raluca Patuleanu and Stefan Negura to Vatra Dornei (Romania). At the same time you will have as also as the opportunity to participate in the 3rd edition of the “Panflute Paradise” festival.

Teachers of the masterclass
The masterclass will be led by five panflute teachers :

Raluca Patuleanu Negura - Belgium - Speak : Ro, En, Nl, Fr
Raluca Patuleanu Negura is disciple of masters Cornel Pana, Radu Simion, Simion Stanciu, Ion Negura with 30 years of international artistic career behind, Her nicknamed between the musicians it s “Gheorghe Zamfir” feminine. She recorded 4 cd’s as a soloist, 2 of them are produced and distributed by the prestigious Romanian record company “Electrecord”. She is the author of 3 manuals of panflute, published in Belgium in 2000
Raluca collaborate with one Conservatory from China, she has a nice friendship with the panflute player and teacher Gao Chunhua. She teache at the international Panflute Academie since 2006, and she is the founder of this last, the only one panflute school in Belgium, Raluca represented Romania throughout Europe and China, and of course Belgium where she live for more than 30 years. She is the organizer of countless panflute seminars and co-organizer of the “Panflute paradise” festival, together with her husband panflute player Stefan Negura.

Stefan Negura - Romania - Speak : Ro, En
Artist of the people, title Rep. of Moldavia, Stefan Negura is the winner of all national and international panflute competitions : – Soloist of the “Organ Hall” in Chisinau (the equivalent of the Philharmonic) ; – Teacher at the Chisinau Conservatory and the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Republican High School for 15 years ; – Collaborator of the conservatory in China “Xian” ; – Teacher at the International panflute academy ; – The only panflute player who represented Romania and the Republic of Moldova at the international festival at the North Pole. – Graduate of the Academy of Music, Theater and Visual Arts. Stefan plays 15 instruments : piano, flute traverso, fluier, caval etc; – Composer of popular music and electronic music ; – Son of university professor Ion Negura, founder of the classical music school for panflute.

Philippe Husser - France - Speak : Fr, En, It
Originally trained as a classical pianist, Philippe Husser discovered his passion for the panflute when he was twelve and improved rapidly, at first by making his own instruments, then by taking classical transverse flute lessons for 4 years, some of the flute techniques being very similar to the panflute techniques. A few years later, his encounter with the undisputed master of the classical panflute, Simion Stanciu (Syrinx), whose disciple he became, propelled him as one of the rare classical interpreters of this amazing instrument.

Adriana Babin - Moldova - Speak : Ro, En
Adriana Babin is a Moldovan-born pan flutist renowned for her virtuosity and emotive performances. A laureate of multiple international competitions, she has performed with prestigious orchestras, including the Orchestre National de France and Junge Sinfonie Berlin, and graced stages at renowned festivals such as Un Violon sur le Sable, Aldbrough Festival, Les Etoiles du Classique, and many more. A graduate of the George Enescu National University of Arts in Romania and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Adriana has collaborated with distinguished artists like Rolando Villazón and Martha Argerich. She is also deeply committed to social causes, partnering with charity foundations like Vladimir Spivakov’s and ArtaVie to bring classical music to underserved communities. Adriana’s contributions to the arts have been recognized with awards from the Moldovan Parliament and the Ministry of Culture, solidifying her place as a global ambassador of Moldovan culture and a leading figure in pan flute performance.

Ana Verhovetchi - Moldova - Speak : Ro, En
Ana Verhovetchi is a talented and promising young musician, who has proven her special talent during her studies and participation in various international competitions. A graduate of the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Music High School in Chisinau, in the class of Professor Ion Negura, and currently a student at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, Ana is developing her studies to have professionalism and professional development. She has been active in various international festivals and competitions, including: – “Delphic Games” 2019, Moscow, – “Prezintă Orchestra Folclor” 2021, – “George Georgescu” 2019, Tulcea – 1st Prize,- “Orpheus” 2018, Târgu Jiu – 1st Prize, – “Eugen Coca” 2020, Chișinău – Finalist, – “Aulodia” 2022, Brașov – Finalist, – “Art Dominanta” 2023, Ukraine – Finalist, – “Emanuel Elenescu” 2022, Piatra-Neamț – Finalist, – “Jazz’n Chișinău” 2023, – “Ioan Goia” 2023, Iași – Finalist, – “Nicolae Știuca” 2023, Cahul – Grand Prize, – “Barbu Lăutaru” 2024 – 1st Prize Finalist. One of the highlights of her career was her participation in the show “Romanians have Talent” in 2023, where she won over the audience and the jury with her passionate performance and perfect technique, earning wide acclaim and recognition. In addition to her career as a performer, Ana has collaborated with various prestigious orchestras, such as “Rapsozii Moldovei”, “Baletul Național Joc”, “Moldovan National Youth Orchestra”, “Orchestra de camara Organ Hall” and many others. Currently, she is an instrumentalist in the “Orchestra Neamului” and founder of the “PanFlute Studio” project. Ana Verhovetchi wants to conquer the hearts of the audience through the wonderful sound of her flute, bringing emotion and solace to the souls through her music.

Graduation ceremony
After the concert, masterclass participants will receive a diploma.
For panflute players wishing to play at the festival without taking lessons, participation fee € 200.
After participating in the festival, you will have a quality audio video recording, which you can receive and use for your promotion.

From Cluj-Napoca Airport to Vatra Dornei by private bus
Participants arrive and return by plane at Cluj-Napoca International Airport, in Romania. Upon arrival, they will be picked up by a coach that will take them to the seminar venue in Vatra Dornei, a 190 km. departure time will be set based on arrivals ; two departures are possible.
